On a typical autumn Saturday morning, armed with rain boots, shovels, and a spirit of teamwork, the DNS Belgium board was ready to make a tangible contribution to the environment. The mission was clear – to plant a new forest in Ternat, in support of the non-profit organization VZW Plant een bos.
A Green Initiative in Ternat
Gathering at the Overnellebos in Ternat, the team, comprising 6 board members and 2 DNS Belgium staff, braved the downpours to plant 100 trees and shrubs. This activity was not just a meaningful environmental effort but also a valuable team-building exercise. Our representative in the DNS Belgium board was happy to roll up the sleeves and support the initiative.
Since 2016, DNS Belgium has been actively supporting VZW Plant een bos through financial contributions. This time, however, the involvement was more hands-on, offering the team the satisfaction of directly contributing to afforestation efforts.
